The Finn Suite

Capacity: 100 to 500 guests

The Finn Suite is our signature wedding venue and a favourite with Donegal couples. It has its own private entrance leading into an elegant arrivals lobby, where a sweeping staircase makes a beautiful first impression and a wonderful spot for photographs. Purpose built for weddings and reserved for your celebration, the suite overlooks the River Finn and Drumboe Woods, giving you and your guests a space that feels entirely your own.

A unique partition adapts the room to your numbers, so it feels just right for 100 guests or 500. The finishing touches are included too: a fairy light backdrop for your top table, a choice of ornate centrepieces, chair covers and linens with bows to match your colours, a cake table and stand, and an entrance and suite dressed in flowers and lanterns.

The Pyramid Suite

Capacity: Up to 250 guests

Part of the original hotel building, the Pyramid Suite has a timeless elegance, with a draped ceiling and ornate chandeliers that recall the style of the Great Gatsby era. It was the venue of choice for Donegal weddings for many years, and following a recent refurbishment, it is once again one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the Northwest.

The suite has its own private entrance, a sunken dancefloor and a private covered balcony where guests can gather throughout the evening. Choose from a selection of linens and centrepieces to complete the look.

The Drumboe Suite

Capacity: Up to 100 guests

The Drumboe Suite is designed for couples planning a smaller wedding who still want the elegance of a four-star hotel. This self-contained suite within the main hotel has its own bar and dancefloor, with muted tones and wood panelling that create a warm and relaxed atmosphere. It's a comfortable space where guests can mingle easily and the day feels personal.

As with all our wedding suites, the Drumboe offers a choice of centrepieces, and the finishing touches Jackson's Hotel weddings are known for.

Civil Ceremonies in Donegal

Jackson's Hotel hosts civil ceremonies in beautifully prepared surroundings, so your ceremony and reception take place in one venue. With no travelling in between, you'll have more time to spend with your family and friends and enjoy the day at a relaxed pace.

Wedding Accommodation in Ballybofey, Donegal

Keep your nearest and dearest close throughout your celebration. Jackson's Hotel offers 100 comfortable bedrooms, from family rooms to executive rooms, giving your guests the ease of staying just steps from your reception. For larger weddings, our sister property, the Villa Rose Hotel and Spa, is only a 2-minute walk away and provides additional accommodation, so your whole wedding party can stay together in the heart of Ballybofey.

Guests of all ages are made to feel welcome, and complimentary onsite parking makes arrival simple. The following morning offers a relaxed start, with breakfast, a swim in our 22-metre indoor heated pool, time in the gym or a stroll along the River Finn through Drumboe Woods.
